Abstract
The paper considers the ideas of many-sided peaceful development of South Kuril Islands which are called “debated territories” in Japan. We deal with the cluster of joint Russia and Japan efforts, with different activity aspects (political, economical, tourist’s, scientific) and mutual positive results for these countries. The central part of the project is the creation of scientific-tourist’s “Tsunamiland” complex (by analogy to “Disneyland” and planetarium).
